Nikon Planning Mirror-less DSLR, Hopes to Boost Sales

Fri, Aug 6, 2010 Like Sony and Samsung, Nikon hopes to jump in the game of Mirror-less Interchangeable lens cameras. President of the company Makoto Kimura plans to release a “new concept” camera with enhanced video functions as early as this year. Nikon believes this will one move in a series to boost SLR sales by an amazing 80 percent in the next three years. Engadget.com believes that if they can include the “D3s’s low light capabilities and even a subset of its modern family of lenses” they don’t believe the task is impossible, only time will tell.
