Yes, there is an eyelet to go over a nail, pin, screw, etc, then it hangs via the groove.

you can move it right to left to make it hang straight.

I’m trying to figure out how one would hang that, using the Groove on the back of it? Can you explain how to use the groove or how to hang it?
